Meet the maker

Amy AmbroseAmy Ambrose Jewelry was born from Amy’s love of transformation. She discovered jewelry making while at university and was drawn to the joy of creating miniature art that can be held in the hand. Every file stroke and saw cut brings a new piece to life before her eyes.

Her studio is vegan and cruelty free, with every choice in materials and process reflecting that commitment while keeping the focus on craftsmanship and beauty.

Amy began her jewelry making journey in 2014 with wire-wrapped crystals and handmade wooden rings, selling them for extra cash during her tenure as a student at uni - back when small sums went a long way. She moved on to copper electroforming before realizing she preferred silver and gold's potential over copper. Teaching herself to solder opened a new world of design possibilities, and she never looked back.

Today, Amy works only in precious metals, blending traditional fabrication with occasional CAD-assisted casting for designs that require it. Most pieces are one of a kind and often created in collaboration with clients to produce something magical and deeply personal with an emphasis on creating ceremonial and memorial jewelry.

Amy has been officially crafting since 2015 and holds a GIA Applied Jewelry Professional Diploma. When she is not at her bench, she can be found deep in a true crime story, cooking autumnal recipes, or dreaming of a cottage in the woods surrounded by animals and herbs.

Whether creating a whimsical everyday treasure, engagement ring or a meaningful memorial piece, Amy’s goal is to design jewelry that feels like a lifelong connection. All commissions begin with an email, where ideas start to take shape into keepsakes.
